Super dad David Beckham covers Elle UK

31 May 2012. Mr. Beckham strikes a pose for the July issue as the first male to ever grace the covers of ELLE. There are two versions – one for the VIP’s (aka subscribers) that shows David seductively emerging from a pool, and then there’s the newsstand cover – a more subdued but still hauntingly sexy shot of the soccer stud in a tight gray T. In the mag, Beckham is humble and often uncomfortable talking about his looks. “How would I sum myself up? I don’t know, I prefer other people to do that,” he says. “Erm... a little bit shy.” He also talks about his love of fashion and the influence his wife Posh has had on him in that regard – and of course, his love for baby daughter Harper.
